How to Reserve a Museum Passes
It is the patron’s responsibility to check the individual museum’s homepage for any closings or hour changes. Please remember to check their websites or call the museum before visiting. Some still require appointments.

The North Babylon Public Library offers FREE family museum passes for Adult North Babylon Cardholders to reserve.
North Babylon Public Library card barcodes and pin/password are needed to reserve a museum pass. Patrons must be 18 years of age or older to reserve and check out museum passes. Patron’s card must be current and in good standing (no fines).
Patrons can book a museum pass for a specific date. Each pass can be booked once every 30 days. Only one Museum Pass may be checked out to a patron at a given time. Passes can be reserved up to two months in advance.
Patrons should check the individual museum’s homepage for any closings or hour changes.
Printable Passes– Patrons are able to book and print certain museum passes from home. These reservation cannot be cancelled.
Pickup/Return to the Library Museum Passes– North Babylon Library cardholders will make a reservation for a specific date. The pass is due back before the Library’s closing on the return date.
A new Museum Pass agreement form must be signed each time a museum pass is checked out and kept at the Reference Desk. Museum Passes are to be handed back to a Reference Librarian to be checked in properly. No museum passes can be left in the Bookdrop.
In order to ensure that the Museum Pass can be given to the next patron, keep in mind that there is a $40 late fee per day($60 for the Town Beach Pass), so please return it promptly. In the event that non-return of a Museum Pass necessitates the Library to pay the entrance fee for the next user that entry cost to the museum will be charged to the borrower’s record in addition to late fees. In the event of loss or mutilation of a Museum Pass, a fee will be charged for the replacement cost of that Museum Pass.
Only one pass can be booked per library card for the Holiday week of 4/12/25-4/20/25.
